Corn Bread

3/4 C corn meal
1 1/4 C flour
1/3 C sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 C milk
1 egg
1/4 C vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 400. Blend all dry ingredients. Stir in remaining wet ingredients until combined and creamy. Pour batter into greased 9x9 pan and bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Serve with White Chili (recipe below)
